Hello, my name is Rod Lorie. I am a veteran and a Medical Service Dog Recipient from the 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs Inc and the Founder, CEO and a Board Member of the nonprofit organization Dog Palooza Inc. My story is one of the many others like me that are in search of our new normal. I was lost but I was found! For me my new normal is possible because of Rocket, my Medical Service Dog. Rocket has about 4 years and $25,000 worth of training to help me mitigate my disabilities on a daily basis.
I have created this cruise to raise awareness for Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs Inc, the 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization where my Rocket comes from, as a way to pay it forward for this amazing organization.
We currently have 3 Medical Service Dog Teams that will be going on this cruise. This is a big step for all of us! Stay tuned!
Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs Inc pairs all qualified veterans from all eras with a Medical Service Dog at no cost to the veteran recipients.
There are 22 veterans who commit suicide on a daily basis and thats 22 too many. Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs Inc helps stop the 22. Since its inception Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs Inc recipient suicide rate is zero.
